Privacy Policy

GigProfit provides tools for gig workers, including order analysis, mileage and session tracking, event and demand information, safety recording, financial organization, and optional AI features.

Information we collect

• Account information such as name, email address, verified phone number, and profile image.
• Location information when you use navigation, mileage tracking, radar, or nearby-event features.
• Order, mileage, expense, income, and usage information you choose to provide or generate in the app.
• Device, diagnostic, subscription, and app-performance information.
• Photos, screenshots, or recordings only when you choose features that require them and grant permission.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the app, authenticate accounts, prevent abuse, process subscriptions, personalize features, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.

Phone verification

Phone numbers may be processed by our authentication providers to send verification codes, secure accounts, and help confirm account ownership.

Third-party services

GigProfit may use service providers such as Firebase/Google, Apple, payment and subscription services, mapping providers, event-data providers, banking-link providers, hosting providers, and AI providers. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

GigProfit AI Copilot

GigProfit AI Copilot can process your prompts, selected conversation history, and limited preferences so it can provide more relevant answers. When enabled, GigProfit may store conversation history and selected low-sensitivity preferences such as preferred language, preferred response style, driving city, driving goals, or vehicle details that you intentionally share.

You can control whether chat history is saved, whether personalized memory is enabled, whether GigProfit activity is used as AI context, whether location context is used, and whether financial summaries are used as AI context. These controls are available in the app’s AI privacy settings.

GigProfit AI does not use your banking credentials, Plaid access tokens, passwords, routing numbers, full account numbers, or similar secrets as saved AI memory. We do not use sensitive banking information to train our own models.

GigProfit may use service providers such as OpenAI and hosting infrastructure providers to process AI requests on our behalf. Those providers process only the information needed to answer the request and operate the feature.

You can delete individual memories, clear the current chat, delete saved AI memory, export AI-related data, or delete chat history. If you delete your account, GigProfit also removes stored AI profile data, memories, conversations, and related chat history associated with that account, subject to limited legal retention obligations.

AI-related data is retained only as reasonably necessary to provide the feature, subject to configurable retention settings, account controls, and legal obligations. We do not store hidden model reasoning or chain-of-thought as part of your AI history.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with service providers only as needed to operate the app, comply with law, protect users, or complete a transaction requested by you.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. You may request deletion of your account and associated data through the app or by contacting us.

Your choices

You may manage permissions in iOS Settings, disconnect optional services, update profile information, or delete your account.

Children

GigProfit is not intended for children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
